AGORA is a Brooklyn-based trio—sometimes quartet—playing a unique blend of covers and originals combining the sensuality of bossa nova and MPB (the Brazilian intellectualized brand of pop that originated in the 60s) with jazz, rock, pop, and world beats.

Agora is Rubens De La Corte—a Brazilian-born Berkley alumnus with an intimate voice and formidable guitar skills. Leonardo Lucini (bass) and Arnaldo Buzack (drums)—both Rio de Janeiro natives who have been active in the NY music scene for years.
