A NYC-based string band that plays the forgotten gems and favorites of the golden age of American pop and vintage-inspired originals in their own category-defying style, described as ‘skiffle meets Cole Porter’ and ‘what do you call this kind of music?’

Buck And A Quarter Quartet appears regularly at great clubs and venues throughout New York City, including Barbès, Sunny’s Bar, Skinny Dennis, Luckydog, Jalopy Tavern, The Brooklyn Firefly, Anyway Café, Pete’s Candy Store, and Rockwood Music Hall. We have also played at Joe’s Pub, 11th St. Bar, Superfine, The Watering Hole, The Winter Social, Jalopy Theatre, The Knickerbocker Hotel, the Green Room, and more.

The band has had long-running residencies at Barbès, Freddy’s Bar, KGB Bar’s Red Room, SISTERS Bklyn, and Jimmy’s No. 43. They have also played throughout the northeast at venues including the Tri-State Jazz Society and The Pennsylvania Jazz Society.”
